Future of calisthenics and street workout after this event
This event opened new doors towards Olympic recognition and investments in our sport. This event was a huge success also from collaborative perspective, whereas WSWCF and World Obstacle has started their collaboration on Olympic integration under common principles, by merging several sports under one Olympic organization – calisthenics, parkour, ninja-warrior, obstacle course racing and many more. President of WSWCF Rolands Kikors agreed on first steps with the President of World Obstacle, Mr. Ian Adamson.
Several Host cities and countries expressed their interest in hosting large scale WSWCF events in their cities, for example, Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona. Also, a very exotic country – Rwanda expressed its interest.
Sthenos Movement, local Swiss SW&C association took part in exhibition
During the event, at the Olympic Museum, WSWCF Member Association Sthenos Movement with their President Beji Saeif-Eddine, organized an exhibition in front of the delegates. This was first time ever appearance of our sport in the Olympic Museum. During the exhibition, Sthenos Movement athletes performed in front of the delegates in freestyle, power and strength elements. WSWCF expresses huge thanks to Sthenos Movement, their athletes and their President.
Future of Calisthenics&Street workout
In nearest time WSWCF shall introduce the community with the upcoming news on future recognition, as well as events calendar for upcoming years. Our ultimate goal is recognition and gathering the whole community in the World, so that one day our athletes can be seen performing in Olympic Games.
Gratitude to Major Events International and World Obstacle
WSWCF expresses huge gratitude to everyone who helped WSWCF in the road to Olympic Museum. Especially, WSWCF hereby would like to express its gratitude to Major Events International and their team, but especially to Mr Claudio Ballor (Federation Account Director), Ms Tupo Mwaijumba (Project Director) and Rita Machado (Business Administration Manager). Finally, without a good push and encouragement by Mr Ian Adamson, President of World Obstacle, WSWCF would not be in this event.
