FLORIDA’S SPORTS COAST (USA) BECOMES GOLDEN PARTNER OF THE WORLD CALISTHENICS CHAMPIONSHIP
PASCO COUNTY, FL. – On June 5, 2026, Mr. Rolands Kikors, President of the World Street Workout and Calisthenics Federation (WSWCF), and Mr. Mike Carballa, Pasco County Administrator representing Florida’s Sports Coast, have officially signed a
sponsorship agreement making Florida’s Sports Coast a Golden Partner of this year’s Calisthenics World Championship.
Florida’s Sports Coast, the official Sports Tourism Destination Organization of Pasco County, Florida, USA has become an official destination partner of WSWCF. This partnership represents a significant milestone for the Confederation, reflecting the long
term, systematic work led by President Rolands Kikors with governments and destinations around the world.
Florida’s Sports Coast Deputy Director of Tourism, Ms. Consuelo Sanchez, has been the driving force behind the evolution of the partnership from the very first interaction in London in March, 2025 to its development into a long term stratigic collaboration.
According to Consuelo B. Sanchez, Pasco County is at the beginning of its calisthenics journey, with an ambitious vision to grow into a premier hub for athletes and enthusiasts across the United States. Her steadfast dedication to sports development has played a
pivotal role in bringing these two organizations together.
Just this February Florida’s Sports Coast hosted the WSWCF Ranking Series Event, The Florida Cup, featuring both freestyle and endurance disciplines. As part of its long-term vision, the organization installed a permanent @kengurupro calisthenics setup,
markingthe first major step in developing a professional training infrastructure in the region. More than 7,000 US dollars were awarded in cash prizes, underscoring the event’s significance and growing impact within the calisthenics community.
This June WSWCF President Rolands Kikors participated in a site visit to Pasco County, Florida, visting various sports venues and cities throughout destination. WSWCF is actively working to set up additional infrastructure to continue growing the calisthenics
community.
As WSWCF Prsident Rolands Kikors explains: “The single most important driver of sport’s growth, and the key to attracting long term sponsors, is the development of proper infrastructure. By establishing outdoor and indoor calisthenics parks under WSWCF – licensed brands, we give young athletes the opportunity to begin their journey toward becoming world champions and to access professional level training enviornments at no cost. Our work in Pasco County is only the beginning. We are already preparing for our 2027 event, the second edition of The Florida Cup, while also laying the groundwork to bring The World Calisthenics Championship to Florida, in 2028 or 2029.
Government involvement is essential for building sustainable long-term progress, and with Pasco County, we have offically achived that.”
Through this partnership, the WSWCF is also strengthening governmental relationships between the Republic of Latvia, including Latvian Investment and Development Agency and Riga Municipality, and Pasco County. As Pasco County’s offical Sports Tourism Destination Organization, Florida’s Sports Coast is now positioned to become an official Tourism Destination Partner in Latvia.
