How did you get involved in the street workout world?
I start because of Dosel (founder of Barbarrio). He was doing explosive push ups and when I was a kid he was telling me try to do some push ups, two years later I decided to go to the park and here I am.
Why did you choose to practice street workout?
It was attractive for me, something new.
How is street workout reflected in your life?
For me street workout its everything, I get up thinking in barbarrio and I go to bed thinking in barbarrio, this sport changed my life and now its my lifestyle.
What are your short term, mid term and long term goals with street workout?
Now we are organizing national Spanish championship and first workout fest in Spain, in the future we would like to do more championships around Spain and also we want to spread more this sport in Spain.
How many times do you workout during the week?
I train everyday, now with the studies and the work with my team I train 4-5 days a week.
Do you have any specific workout plan or you just improvise and do your thing?
One day I do freestyle and powermoves (front lever, straddle planche, handstand) and the other day just sets (sometimes with weights) and I rest one day.
Which would be the most complex move you achieved (tell us about the process it took you, to achieve it)?
On most powermoves you cant achieve them on the first day, you have to keep trying until you make them perfect, just train them but don’t forget about basics, without basics you cant achieve difficult movements.
Which would be the best experience you had doing street workout?
Last year superfinal in Moscow with my street workout family, I enjoyed the time there.
What inspire or motivate you to keep on doing street workout?
The kids that now are training, I see them as me in the past and that motivates me to keep doing what I love and keep spreading this sport.
Which would be the worst experience you had doing street workout?
Just the injuries, sometimes you have to stop a little bit because of injuries, just that.
What do you expect from the street workout community in the next couple of years?
To keep spreading this healthy lifestyle, I don’t want street workout to be a commercial sport, this is for everybody, no money needed to do this.
Can you give an advise for all the people that would like to start doing street workout?
Just try, is difficult on the first days but you going to enjoy it.
