How did you get involved in the street workout world?
At age 16 after been in prison for minors (till that time I was smoking, drinking and did many stupid things) I decided to start training to become stronger I stopped smoking, and since my habits changed I realized that I’ve nothing in common with my friends, So I started to study and developing my self. So in a way for me Street workout was a break through to a better life.
Why did you choose to practice street workout?
As I wrote above, I wanted to get stronger and to make a change in my life. I haven’t money for anything else- working out on the street was always available – a long before we had youtube or any social media.
How is street workout reflected in your life?
After training for a few years in street workout, I became strong and more confident. So I decided to motivate and encourage others to start with it, so I begin to organize workout meetings made a few videos, and after a couple years open a website youtube and facebook channels to promote the movement.
What are your short term, mid term and long term goals with street workout?
Short term – Organize the Semi-Final of Championship of Israel 2014
Visit Ukraine Workout Style Championship in 2014 and Workout Fest 2014
Street Workout World Championship 2014.
Mid term – Complete the Street Workout application – full version 1.0
Organize the Final of Championship of Israel 2014 and World Workout Festival in Israel at summer 2014.
Long term – improve the Street workout in worldwide as known social movement and Official sport.
How many times do you workout during the week?
3 times – Strength trainings
5-6 times – Technique trainings
Do you have any specific workout plan or you just improvise and do your thing?
Many plans I have, but still always need to improvise
Which would be the most complex move you achieved (tell us about the process it took you, to achieve it)?
Human Flag muscle up on pole – It took almost a year to get it done fully.
Which would be the best experience you had doing street workout?
The best experience is that every time I travel, I meet very interesting people.
What inspire or motivate you to keep on doing street workout?
I believe in it, when I see so many young people starting training following me and my team – I know that what I do is right. Every time I finish my training I feel happy, but without it I feel like I miss something very important part.
Which would be the worst experience you had doing street workout?
At june 2013 when I was in Kiev, I’ve injured very badly at my right hand and it took for 3 month to recover, I’ve lost many elements got a lt weaker because of it. Any way Now I been more careful
What do you expect from the street workout community in the next couple of years?
More Global big events, more Records to be broken. More and more followers, motivated and start with better and healthier life.
Can you give an advise for all the people that would like to start doing street workout?
Our slogan is: “When the Street is the Gym – the Sky is the limit”.
don’t be depend o anything, you can literally traing anywhere and the most original elements, not yet created – keep discovering keep progressing – and believe in yourself.
